Quick answer: To add a photo on your phone, open a FunPouch template and sign in before uploading. In the cover-photo field, choose your file, wait for it to upload, then use the image adjustment controls. Tap Apply adjusted image and check the saved Preview before sharing.

Start with a suitable image
Choose a JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF accepted by the cover upload field. Use a clear image with room around the subject. A narrow portrait may need substantial cropping in a wide cover. Avoid putting important text close to an edge, and use a photo you are authorized to share. Downloading an image from a messaging app may reduce its quality.
Upload or choose a ready visual
Ready visuals offer a quick starting point. Your own upload is better when a shared photograph is central to the message. After choosing a file, wait for the upload status to finish and confirm the image appears in the preview. Selecting a filename alone does not prove that the upload succeeded. If you see a sign-in message, complete sign-in before trying again.
Set the shape, then adjust the crop
Choose Wide cover, Square or Portrait according to the composition you want. Increase Zoom to bring the subject closer. Use horizontal and vertical position sliders to move the crop; drag or pinch controls are also provided. Sliders are useful when touch gestures are difficult. At minimum zoom, there may be little spare image area to reposition.
Apply the adjustment and verify the saved result
Tap Apply adjusted image. This saves a new cropped copy for the cover; it does not rewrite your original source file. Wait for the saved confirmation. Open Preview and compare the subject position with the editor. Changing a slider changes the crop workspace; the Apply button commits the adjusted image to the experience.
Troubleshoot a photo that does not appear
Check the upload status first, then the account sign-in state and network connection. Try a smaller JPEG or PNG if the device cannot process the original. If the crop preview looks right but the experience still shows an older image, apply the crop and open Preview again. Keep a copy of your text before refreshing an unsaved editor. A downloaded adjusted image can be reused elsewhere, subject to the destination’s image requirements.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to sign in to upload a photo?
Yes. The upload workflow requires a signed-in FunPouch account.
Why did moving the zoom slider not update my saved cover?
Use Apply adjusted image to commit the crop, then wait for the saved confirmation and check Preview.
Is this a full Canva-style layer editor?
No. These controls adjust the cover crop and provide a downloadable image. They do not provide arbitrary text layers or free placement of multiple objects.
